If it bothers you so much that they like something enough to post about it, I think this problem is between you and them. Or, like I said, the problem is maybe that you insist on continuing to follow them even though you have complaints about what they post.

I do follow a lot of people who happen to be involved in fandoms I’m not interested in, in addition to the ones they’re involved in that I am interested in. But when they post stuff relating to the fandoms I’m not interested in, I just scroll past it. Meh.
But this is why I check out peoples’ archives (or at least the previous couple of pages of posts) before I actually decide whether to follow them or not. If they post/reblog one or two things I like, but then I see their blog is 99% stuff I’m not interested in, then I probably won’t follow them. It’s not personal. I just don’t feel the need to bother myself by cluttering up my dash with hundreds of posts relating to shit I don’t really care about.
If you’re following someone who often posts things that you just feel are cluttering up your dash uselessly, or that bother you that much… remember that you’re doing it to yourself. Following people on Tumblr is voluntary.

I’m glad I have at least a temp job again. The problem is that now my daily Tumblr schedule is all kinds of screwed up. Tumblr withdrawal. I mean, what if something happens on my dash that I should have feels about, but I don’t see it because I can’t check Tumblr at work? :P

I honestly have no idea. Only about 20 of them have ever actually talked to me. I still gain and lose a couple followers every few days; I guess I just gain more than I lose, sometimes? I often wonder how many of them are bots or dead accounts.
