Overheating will keep your awake no matter how tired you are. Do everything in your power to lower your temp. specially your head. Leaving water in basement then putting cool bottle on head helps.

Thanks for the tips. I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with the same, and/or worse. At least you had wilderness training/experience (which I haven’t had).
This heat wave is ridiculous. Hot, humid summer weather is my least favorite kind of weather, anyway, but I don’t want to feel like it’s actually trying to kill me anymore.

America is actually descending into hell
GUYS IT HAS BEEN SIXTY-FIVE AND CLOUDY IN SEATTLE FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS.
I’M NOT EVEN SURE THE SUN STILL EXISTS TBH.
Fuck you. You should be funneling your weather to every other city that is suffering. The end. Signed, every other city.

Okay, Twitter is working again. But I have another problem: Caffeine supplies are dangerously low. Shit. I guess I do have to go outside.
I wish I had a spacesuit. Or some sort of cool-looking long coat with a special refrigerated inner liner.
We are getting the same thing up here.
Then at least know that someone out there feels your pain, hahaha.

I guess I picked a good time to be out of a job, since it’s going to be really humid and like 100 fucking degrees Fahrenheit for the next couple of days. At least I don’t have really anything that is going to force me to leave the house during the hottest parts of the day. I hate the swamp-ass DC weather we have during the summer. Ugh.
