Cryptonomicon’s a really fun read eh
Oh, I seriously loved Cryptonomicon. One of my favorites :)
Right now, though, I’m reading a collection of a bunch of his short work (fiction, nonfiction, essays, etc). I’m in the middle of an article he wrote for Wired in the mid-90s about how undersea communications cables are constructed and how they work (not just technically, but economically and politically). It’s actually kind of fascinating, but it definitely wouldn’t be if it had been written by someone boring.
