Just got off the phone with the plumber. Definitely not gonna have the water turned back on until at least tomorrow. The “mole” machine is firmly stuck underneath my neighbor’s driveway. Not only is the soil pretty rocky, but that area is particularly muddy (they think that’s where the leak in the pipe was). So they’re gonna actually have to destroy part of his driveway just to get the “mole” out, before they can even finish laying the pipe. And only then will we have water again. Ugh.
